Terms

The product

Locker is a paid macOS application licensed to you for your own use. The license is personal and non-transferable. The Mac app and any future web version are separate products with separate terms; these terms cover the Mac app.

Licenses & updates

We offer license tiers in limited quantities, in order of purchase:

• Lifetime (the first 60 customers) — a one-time purchase including updates for as long as the Mac app exists.
• 4 years of updates — a one-time purchase that includes updates for four years; afterward the app keeps working, and you may renew for continued updates at the then-current, publicly-posted price.
• Web tiers (bring-your-own-AI-key and managed) — pricing to be announced; not sold yet.

“Updates” means new versions of the app. In every tier, the version you have keeps working — a tier only governs your eligibility for new updates.

Payments

All purchases are processed by Polar (polar.sh) as our Merchant of Record. Polar handles payment, sales tax/VAT, and billing. We never see or store your payment-card details.

Refunds

Locker is a digital product delivered immediately, so all sales are final and we don't offer refunds, except where required by law. See the Refund Policy.

Your data & privacy

The Mac app runs entirely on your Mac. Your email, account credentials, and AI processing stay on your device — the app sends no email content, usage data, or telemetry back to the developer or anyone else. The only network connections it makes are to your own mail provider (to sync your mail) and to check for app updates and validate your license. See the Privacy Policy.

Connecting accounts (incl. Apple Mail)

Gmail/IMAP accounts connect directly. For work, Outlook, or Exchange accounts that block IMAP, Locker can read and send through Apple Mail using macOS automation, locally on your Mac — no data goes through our servers. Be aware: Apple Mail downloads your whole mailbox to your device(that is Apple's behavior, not ours), so a large mailbox can use significant disk space and take a long time to sync the first time. You can pause or remove the account at any time. This path only works if your organization permits adding the account to Apple Mail.

As-is

Locker is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. You're responsible for your own email and for reviewing any action before you approve it — the app proposes, you commit. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States.
